API removed in the target version
An API the project uses does not exist in the upgrade target.
What it means
Reported by the upgrade plan: the API is still present in the installed version but removed in the target major (--target, or the next major by default). The upgrade cannot complete while it is used.
How to fix it
Replace each usage before running ng update. When an automatic migration covers it, the plan lists the command.
What it looks like
As printed by diopter check; the UI and the Markdown report show the same finding with its location.
[DIOP0003] `afterRender` is removed in v20 (src/app/chart/chart.component.ts:31).
