API removed in a later version

The project uses an Angular API that no longer exists in a later major than the installed one.

What it means

The API compiles today, but the upgrade to the version that removed it will fail until every usage is gone. This is the list of things an ng update to that major stops on.

The finding names the version that removes the API and the replacement when one exists.

How to fix it

Replace each usage before the upgrade. The Upgrade plan tab groups these findings per target major, next to the migrations that can do part of the work.

What it looks like

As printed by diopter check; the UI and the Markdown report show the same finding with its location.

[DIOP0002] `afterRender` will be removed in v20 (src/app/chart/chart.component.ts:31).
  fix: Use `afterEveryRender` instead.

diopter check --fail-on removed (the default).
